It is a tale of sides at different ends of the table with the Cooma side sitting in first while the Rhinos are sitting in ninth and fighting to stay in NPL 1.

Coach Gabriel Abdala said his side are looking forward to the challenge on Saturday.

"The week off gave us a chance to rest some of the boys who had been carrying small niggles," he said.

"When you are versing a team at the top of the table, it is always going to be a challenge, but we are looking to get a result."

With the extra week to prepare for the clash, the Rhinos coach used the time to focus on making sure they are staying in the right structures.

"More than anything we have been focusing on getting our shape right," he said.

"In the last couple of weeks, we have been really hitting the nail on the head of where we need to be in attack and defence. It's just about making sure we continue that."

Coming into the game of two point-scoring results the Rhinos are still well and truly in the fight to stay in the top division sitting seven points behind the eighth-placed Woden-Weston side with five games remaining.

Abdala is hopeful his side will be able to carry their form into the back half of the season.

"WE have picked up four points in two games against not too bad opposition with a win over Belconnen United and a draw against Woden-Weston," he said.

"In the last game we were unlucky not to get more than a draw out of it, but that is football sometimes.

"Hopefully they are able to maintain the momentum."

In the last meeting between the two sides back in round five, the Tigers were able to take a 4-1 victory, but Abdala said there were positives his side took from that clash and now that the Tigers have lost their main striker the coach is hopeful of getting a result.

"We weren't too far off the pace and were in the game for the first 70 minutes," he said.

"They have lost Nico Abot, who was the leading scorer of the competition, and that will be a significant loss.

"It could be a motivational factor for the defence, and it could be a good opportunity for our boys to really push them."

The Rhinos youth sides will also return to the field after having the week off when they take on Tuggeranong with the first games kicking off at 11am at Solar Mad Stadium and Southside League Club oval.

The first-grade clash between the Rhinos and the Tigers will kick off at around 5pm at Solar Mad Stadium.
