The Kanga Cup is a week-long tournament held in Canberra that showcases the best in youth football and is Australia's number one football festival.
The under 10s girls side capped off a strong week, taking out their division with a 5-0 in over North Shore Mariners.
Coaches Pat Pangello, Trevor DalBroi and team manager Rosanna Armanini, were thrilled with the girl's performance.
"We're so proud of our under 10's girls, they didn't concede a goal throughout the entire tournament, their game was fantastic," DalBroi said.
"With an awesome defence and precise passing, they proved they were the best in the competition. Their team spirit was high, they fought for the ball, and their 'don't give up attitude' paid off. It was a great result."
It was a good weekend for the GDFA sides with all teams making the quarter-finals with the boy's sides all playing up a division.
GDFA president Dom Schirripa said it was a great showcase of the talent levels of players in Griffith.
"We're very proud of everyone's effort and a huge congratulations to the U10's girls team for bringing home the trophy," he said.
