Tara Ceccato led the way for the Hanwood side and continued her goal-scoring form finding the back of the net four times while Airlee Savage scored once to see the top of the table Hanwood side pick up their ninth win of the season.
For the Henwood Park side, Ellie Faulder scored twice while Ashley Garratt scored once.
The Hanwood side is currently 10 points ahead of the second-placed Tolland side who have a game in hand on the Griffith side.
This weekend the Hanwood side will return home to take on Wagga United and will be looking to maintain their gap at the top of the table with a bye facing them next weekend.
The last meeting between the two sides saw Hanwood come away with a 4-0 victory.
The women's game will kick off at around 11am at Hanwood Oval on Sunday.
