Students from across the region had their time to shine during the Riverina Dance Festival at the Griffith Regional Theatre on Friday.

Successfully auditioning in a competitive YouTube selection process, chosen schools had the experience of a lifetime.
More than 350 dancers from five elite ensembles bringing together some of the best dancers from primary and secondary schools in the Albury and Wagga Wagga areas, plus performers from:
- Barham High School
- Billabong High School
- Forest Hill Public School
- James Fallon High School
- Leeton High School
- Leeton Public School
- North Wagga Public School
- Parkview Public School
- South Wagga Public School
- Sturt Public School
- Temora Public School
- Wagga Wagga High School
- Yenda Public School
- Young High School
In it's 31st year, the festival gives dancers the chance to experience dancing on the setting of a professional setting on the stages of three of the Riverina's leading theatres in Albury, Griffith and Wagga Wagga.
Yenda Public School was the only school from the Griffith area to audition successfully. Teacher Lisa Brown, who was the instructor for the group of 26 students, said their selection was a testament to student's dedication.
"From our school's perspective it was excellent!" Ms Brown said.
"The students performed really well, and it was a great experience for the kids to perform on stage in front of a truly great audience."
