After having the long weekend off, Yoogali FC co-coach Ross Marando said his boys are excited to get back out on the park.
"We just had a few light training sessions last weekend to give the guys a bit of a break to freshen up," he said.
"The guys are looking forward to getting back out there."
The Yoogali FC side has only conceded two goals while scoring 13 to start the season and will be coming into the game off the back of a 5-1 win over Hanwood FC two weeks ago.
The start has been really pleasing for Marando.
"This is what you work for at the start of the season," he said.
"Now we will just be looking to carry the form into the clash with Wests."
Wests are having a tough start to the season after only getting a team together just before the start to the season. The side is sitting in third position having picked up a 3-1 win over Hanwood before falling 9-0 at the hands of defending champions Yoogali SC before the long weekend.
Despite the tough start for Wests, Marando knows better than to take any side lightly.
"We are expecting a different game to the one back in round one," he said.
"I think they will be tougher, having played some more games as a team. We aren't taking anyone lightly, and they are always tough at the Coro Club."
The game will kick off at 3pm at the Coro Club Oval.
