The average resident can expect to pay about 3.15 per cent more in rates, which represents about a $29 increase for the financial year.
Meanwhile the average business owner can expect a 3.09 per cent rate hike, or nearly a $40 increase.
Farmland will attract a 4.58 per cent rate hike, whereas irrigable farmland will be let off with a 1.78 per cent rate rise.
That would translate to a $105 and a $116 rate increase respectively.
The rate increases are well under the maximum cap set by the Office of Local Government.
Council charges will stay more or less the same, apart from recycling charges which are set to plummet.
Residents can expect a 29 per cent decrease in their recycling bill, which amounts to a $41 drop.
Business will enjoy a 31 per cent decrease in recycling charges, or about $99.
