Griffith City Council has given the green light for a dump point and bush camping site behind the Yenda Diggers Club.
There will be RV sites located on the roads leading to town, and advertising will be placed in the Wanders magazine. This will be a welcome addition to the services offered by our community to all travelers.
New lighting is being installed by the club and they look great. The lights are funded by members adopting a light; please contact the Yenda Diggers Club if you would like to help.
Yenda Tigers Soccer Club is having a reverse draw next Friday, June 21 from 7pm at the Yenda Hotel. Live band and catch up with friends and raise much-needed funds for the club. First prize is $1000. Numbers in the reverse draw can be purchased for $20 and must be paid for before the night. Tickets can be purchased through Kristie 0432 467 639 or Anthony 0427 5666 59.
Three Yenda Public School staff are performing In the community production of Legally Blonde. Tickets are available at the Griffith Regional Theatre or online.
