The event saw over 200 players descend on Griffith to take part over the long weekend with around 50 coming from Canberra and 30 making the long trip from Sydney.
The men's final was taken out by Griffith's Daniel Dossetor for the third straight time while the women's final went to Kaitlin Staines from Wagga.
Dossetor advanced to the final with three straight-set victories before coming up against Jamieson Nathan who also picked up two straight sets win before progressing through to the final with a tiebreak win in the semi-final.
The match started on clay before the rain hit, and with the courts too wet the game was moved to grass.
Nathan took out the first set 6-2 before Dossetor stormed back with a 6-3 second set before taking the tiebreaker 10-1 to take out the title.
The Griffith veteran was pleased with his performance in the final.
"It wasn't too bad," Dossetor said.
"I was able to scrap my way back into the game, and in the end, I came home pretty well."
Meanwhile, in the women's, Staines was able to advance to the final with two convincing wins to get through to the final where she took on Jane Haeusler from Barellan who picked up two straight sets win to get into the final.
It was the first time for Haeusler in an open final and the 15-year-old put in the effort, but Staines was too strong as, after a rain delay, she came away with a 4-0, 4-0 victory in a shortened match.
The rain did cause issues with some of the finals being decided by a coin toss.
"Everyone would have liked to see the finals ended the normal way but sometimes that can't happen," Dossetor said.
"It was a bit of a novelty. It rarely comes down to this, but you can't sit around on the final day and wait for the courts to dry out."
Plans are already in the works to make sure that the 100th event next year is the best yet.
"We have already started to make the call out for former winners to make the trip down here next year," Dossetor said.
