Concerns were raised at the last general council meeting by Councillor Mike Neville over residents' complaints they weren't aware of development in their area.
Cr Neville outlined that he had, on numerous occasions, been approached by someone detailing their disappointment they had not been given the opportunity to raise concerns over potential disruption.
The issue was raised after notice of the development application for the Hindu Temple failed to reach a business down the road from the proposed site.
It's too often that we get concerns raised in relation to notifications.

While the applicants were more than happy to address his concerns despite the fact they came in after the official cut-off date, this is not the first time people have been left in the dark, according to Cr Neville.
Managing director for Bruno Altin and Co Gloria Altin wrote a letter detailing they hadn't received council's letter until five days after the submission closing date.
"I would like to submit a request to Griffith City Council," the letter read.
"Please find another means of contacting neighbouring parties of an application that could potentially impact on the lives of those living and working around the proposed alteration of an area in our vicinity."
Cr Neville's question over the method of notification, saying he had heard and received a number of similar complaints
"I know we have a process but I found it interesting that a rate payer has raised that concern because from time to time there appears to be...it's too often that we get concerns raised in relation to notifications," Cr Neville said.

Mr Harding said in response to Cr Neville's questions that "there have been issues where people have said they haven't received their letter."
"That could do with Australia Post these days, the long time it takes them to deliver, but in recent times we have sent some emails out to objectors, and I think we need to look at how we notify just to be doubly sure they receive the information."
