It had been three games without a win for the Yenda side and needed to turn around their form quickly if they are to maintain contact with the top five.
Two tries to Aposai Loaloadravu and Floyd Faavesi alongside one try each from Jeremy Mau, James Olivero, Jayden Wood and Tevita Halafihi Mahe helped the Blueheelers take a 44-14 victory.
For the travelling Sharks, coach Sterling Ross, Tysen Enness and Alexander Marr were the try scorers as their tough season continues.
The Sharks are winless after the first eight rounds, and it doesn't get any easier with West Wyalong make the trip to Lake Cargelligo next weekend while Yenda travels to face Hay.
