It was a game where coach Craig Morriss thought his side had done enough to take the victory.
"I thought we'd done enough to win that game," he said.
"The boys were right in the mix in the first half and in the first 20 I thought we were the better team, but we let ourselves down again with the one-percenters at the end.
"It is a simple game you just have to do the small things right, and when you don't do those things right at the end due to fatigue, you fall away.
"It is disappointing, but I'm not as disappointed as the players are. They know they put the effort in but couldn't close it out again."
The Aggies were able to take a 10-5 lead into the halftime break with Hamish Pennington getting across the line early for the Wagga side.
A try to Ag's Benjamin Brooke extended that lead, but with two quick tries, the Blacks were back to within touching distance with 20 minutes remaining.
A penalty goal to Pennington and tries to Samuel Chalmers, and Mackenna Cusack put the game out of reach for the Blacks as the visiting side picked up the 22-point victory.
Morriss knows where his side will need to improve if they want to pick up a result in their game next weekend.
"We just aren't doing the one-percenters enough to tick the game off," he said.
"Aggies are a quality team, and the boys did the best they could, but we have to improve.
"We have to focus on our ball control, our work in the ruck and just our fitness to try and stop us falling away at the end. We have to find something to stop the gaps and stop the leaks.
Next week the Blacks take on CSU Reddies in Wagga and would like another victory before the bye for representative football.
"We need to get another win," he said.
"We have a few guys here who have been busted today with a bit of blood spilled with head injuries, but they should be right for next weekend."
