Both Chris Turnbull, Ben Daking and Ben Brown addressed council on behalf of the applicant Frost Protection Australia, and owner Almond Co., to reassured their DA was sound.
"It is not in our interest to get this application wrong," Mr Turnbull said.
He said in their applications they have been "careful and quite conservative" in their estimations, even overestimating the impact so as to not go over the decibel limit.
Council voted unanimously to pass the DA, which will see frost fans installed on Lot 2 DP 812633 and Lot 32 DP 841128, Nos. 1506 and 1632 Rankins Springs Road Myall Park.
In the report bought before council in May, council provided response to all 11 concerns raised by the closest neighbour, Sue Molyneaux.
Phil Harding, council's director of sustainable development said "all discrepancies were clarified" in the council report presented at the recent meeting.
In just the first concern - the discrepancies in the fan distance to her house - council's review stated the assessment report and the business paper were "not updated" to match the DA documents as was intended, when it was noted that they "were essentially the same."
Distance differences included as low as five meters up to 38 meters.
Speaking on the night, the applicants' representatives made themselves available to answer further questions from residents Mrs Molyneaux and Mark Groat.
Mr Groat said if the "ambiguous nature" of the rural zoning was clarified, given the review of the policy taking place, and if compliance and complaints procedures were "ironed out" then they had no further problems.
Mr Harding said "the use of the land was the key determinant" in looking at the DA.
Council Resolved on the motion of Councillor Doug Curran the DA was laid on the table until the first Council meeting in May.
The follow on report to the first council meeting in May, as stated by the mayor, was to address concerns raised by the objectors and apparent inconsistencies in the report.
The latest report not only addressed the issues raised but also provided an outline of the intended review of the Frost Control Fan Policy.
"Council is reviewing the Frost Control Fan Policy... It is anticipated that more DA's will be submitted for Frost Control Fans - hence the necessity to review the policy," Mr Harding said.
The full council review is available on Griffith City Council's website.
