The two Waynes, Alpen and Bottcher, won the event with 46 points, combining to score 24 points out.
Bottcher nailed birdies on the 5th and 8th, they added 22 home, and Alpen birdied the 17th.
The father and son-in-law combination of Bill Brown and Mark Townsend, were second with 44, 22 points out. Mark birdied the 5th and Brown the 6th then also carded 22 home.
In third place, on a countback, were Graeme Trevett and Terry Greedy, also 44.
Trevett birdied the 8th, Greedy the 12th, in scoring 23 out and 21 in.
That pushed Ken Alpen and Bill Carter 44 out of a place on a countback.
Bottcher and Brad Lemon won the Pro Pins. Par Three: 4th Tony Catanzariti, 7th Darren Forrester, 11th Max Turner, and 16th Steve Lightfoot. Vouchers to 40.

Mike Gillett, 36, won B Grade over Brendon Peters, 35. Paul Connell won C Grade, Ken Waide, 35, second. Alf Franchi won the 7th pin, Andrew Oates 11th. Vouchers to 33.
There was also a qualifier for the local Mixes Match Play and the WRDGA Championship with ten pairs.
Lyn Hedditch and Dick Thompson, 50, won from Jenny Thomas and Darren Forrester 46, Annie Hicks and Brian Savage, 38, third.

The veterans played a single stableford last Thursday. Gerry Cox, 35, won 0-18 Grade from Derek Langford, 33, on a countback over Graham Sibraa.
Doug McWilliam, 44, easily won 19-27 Grade, Byron James, 36, second countback over Peter Den Houting.
Ray Mead, 38 points, won 28-36 Grade from Bill Wilkinson, 32 points.

A one grade single stableford last Tuesday won by John Brennick, 39, from Cec Spence, 37. Gary Gardner, Tony McBride, Gerry Cox won vouchers.
