It was a major undertaking for rally organiser Allan Haggerty, who has been "literally burning the midnight oil" to manage guests pouring in from as far afield as Newcastle and Gundagai.
"Most of them haven't been here before, so we wanted to expose them to the real Griffith with its diverse agriculture and industry," Mr Haggerty said.
"I'm very happy with the response we've had; we got some very good feedback."
From Friday the attendants were given a whirlwind tour of some of the vineyards, farms, businesses, and the sights that Griffith, Yenda, and Leeton have to offer.
On Sunday they drove to the Southside Leagues Club to swap stories and talk about the history that lay underneath each car's bonnet.
It was the first time the rally has been held in Griffith since the very first rally nearly 50 years ago.
