At 10am the doors will open and residents will able to see firefighter demonstrations, tours and safety presentations. Firefighters will able to see the fire trucks and rescue equipment up close and learn about what's involved in doing the work to keep the community safe. Griffith Station 311 and Yenda Station 512 are open until 2pm.

Touring exhibition from Girringun Aboriginal Arts Centre
The Manggan exhibition continues at the Griffith Regional Art Gallery until June 2. The exhibition brings handcrafted work and historic photographs. Entry is free.
IRRIGATION WONDERLAND CAR RALLY
Veteran, vintage and historic cars arrive in Griffith for annual event
Griffith's Historic Motor Club and the MIA Veteran, Vintage and Classic Car Club are hosting the Council of Heritage Motor Club's annual rally in Griffith. Over 150 vehicles from before World War I up to 1988 have arrived in Griffith for the weekend's events. They will be on display on Sunday at the Southside Leagues Club, with entry by donation to support people diganosed Motor Neurone Disease. Rally entrants will also tours covering food, art deco and self-drive tours during the weekend.

Polling for the 2019 federal election opens across Farrer on Saturday
Voting opens at 8am at Griffith's PCYC, Murrumbidgee Regional High's Wade campus, Griffith Public and Griffith North Public schools. To find out where else you can vote, and who's standing for election click here.
