Booming businesses and enterprising entrepreneurs will be lavished with praise and glory at this year's Griffith Business Chamber Awards, which was launched at Griffith Regional Art Gallery on Monday.
This year's awards are bigger than ever, with new categories and new sponsors to go along with them.
"Excellence in Sustainability", "Excellence in Micro Business", and "Local Family Business of the Year" are three shiny new categories, bringing the number of awards up for grabs to 12.
Ten of those awards are NSW Business Chamber awards, and the victors of those awards will head to the regional awards, and the winner from those awards will head to the state awards.
Last year, seven out of 12 Griffith businesses went on to snap up regional awards - a testament to the sheer volume of business acumen bubbling away in Griffith.
Aquna Murray Cod then went on to seize glory at the NSW Business Chamber competition, where they took out the Excellent in Innovation award.
Griffith Business Chamber administrator Amanda Quarisa said this year's business awards had already attracted a lot of community support.
"We're so pleased to have a great deal of sponsors on board this year," she said.
Griffith City Council general manager Brett Stonestreet said council was happy to back the awards.
"The awards are all about celebrating success, and there's no doubt about it - Griffith is a success story," Mr Stonestreet said.
"We shouldn't be afraid to savour the success."
You can find information on each of the categories and how to apply for them at the Griffith Business Chamber website.
Two of the awards - Local Family Business of the Year and Local Customer Service Award - are local awards that can be nominated by members of the public.
