With no sale last week numbers lifted with lams showing the increase.

Lamb quality was fair with good numbers of finished lambs offered.

According to Meat and Livestock Australia's National Livestock Reporting Service heavy and extra heavyweight lambs were well supplied.

The usual buyer were present and competing.

Light lambs sold from $126 to $138/head.

Trade weights were firm to $4 better with prices ranging from $141 to $169/head.

Heavy and extra heavyweight lambs held fairly steady.

Heavy lambs to 26kg sold from $170 to $187/head.

Those weighing more than 26kg received from $185 to $251/head.

Carcase prices averaged from 680c to 725c/kg. Mutton quality was very mixed though prices remain strong. Merino ewes sold from $106 to $196/head.

Crossbreds received from $110 to $175 and Dorper ewes ranged from $123 to $159/head.
