Things kicked off from 11am on April 25 at the Yenda Memorial Park, where families came for the main commemoration service.
Yenda Public School children took time out of their school holidays to come, read out the names of Yenda veterans killed in war, and lay a wreath in their memory.
Members of the different community groups came one by one to lay their own wreaths at the foot of the cenotaph.
It was a deeply personal day for guest speaker David Deane, who lost many of his own family members throughout World Wars 1 and 2, including his dad.
Like many hotblooded youths, his father faked his age to go and fight in World War 1 before going on to fight in World War 2, never to return.
Mr Deane came to Yenda Memorial Park proudly wearing his father's medals - the mementos he treasures to his day.
When he stepped up as the guest speaker for Anzac Day he paid tribute to all the people like his dad who gave their lives in service to their country.
"We stand here today, along with thousands of others to honour great men and women and a great tradition," Mr Deane said.
"We gather as we shall always gather not to glorify war, but to remind ourselves that we value who we are and the freedoms we possess, and to acknowledge the courage and sacrifice of those who contributed so much in shaping the identity of this proud nation."

On the day the people of Yenda remembered those who served not just in Gallipoli, but in France, Flanders, Palestine, North Africa, the Middle East, the south west Pacific.
"The men and women who forged the Anzac spirit made sure that those who followed them earned their respect," Mr Deane said.
"They all understood the values of independence, freedom and fairness and - above all - possessed a willingness to defend these things if need be."
