The Hawks haven't played for almost three weeks thanks to the club bye and then the break for Easter.

This weekend they will be hitting the road for one of the longer road trips of the competition to take on Tullibigeal Lakes United.

So far this season the Hawks have picked up one victory and one loss.

Their win over Darlington Point-Coleambally was the week prior to the bye and Easter.

Co-coach Troy Preston was hopeful the winning ways would continue against the Sharks.

However, the Hawks will be light on when it comes to personnel on Sunday afternoon.

"We've got a few blokes out through injury and some are away with other commitments," Preston said.

"It's going to be good now to start to play a few games together.

"It hasn't really been the best start to the season with the bye and Easter, but it can't be helped."

Last week Preston and fellow co-coach Andrew Smith decided the give the team the week off.

"We just thought we'd give them the week off to spend time with their families for Easter or do whatever it is they do," Preston said.

"We had a pretty tough pre-season, so we wanted to let them rest and freshen up. This week we were back training on Tuesday night.

"It was a tough session to prepare for this weekend, but we had good numbers there."

With the trek to TLU being a long one, Preston was pleased to be getting it out of the way in round four.

"I don't think it matters where they (TLU) are on the ladder, they are always tough out there," he said.

"Being a few players down, that's going to make it tougher for us, but we'll be right."

The Sharks are yet to win a match this season and are sitting in second last position on the ladder, while Yanco-Wamoon are just outside the top five in sixth.

Preston said his side won't be taking TLU lightly on Sunday.

"We definitely can't afford to do that ... we want to start stringing some wins together now," he said.
