Chief Executive Jill Ludford said she was delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Brylski after an extensive recruitment search.
Mr Brylski, from Roma in Queensland, is a Pharmacist who also holds a Masters of Public Health and Masters of Business Administration.
"Mr Brylski is an experienced healthcare leader in a regional setting, having held strategic operational roles at the South West Hospital and Health Service in Roma, including as Director of Pharmacy and Acting Executive Director of Primary and Community Care," Ms Ludford said.
Previously he was Clinical Pharmacist at the Metro North Hospital and Health Service in Brisbane.
"Mr Brylski is an innovative, strategic leader and we welcome the skills he will bring to this key role at GBH," Ms Ludford said.
Mr Brylski said he was looking forward to delivering innovative and sustainable health care for the Griffith and district community.
"As a health professional, I am dedicated to improving the lives of patients and helping them lead a more functional and healthy lifestyle. I recognise that achieving this is not just about providing clinical services, it requires an understanding and respect of cultural differences and needs, and a commitment to applying this across all areas of the health service.
"By engaging with the whole community, we can identify new opportunities to improve the health, wellbeing and resilience of our local communities," he said.
With his partner Lisa, Mr Brylski said they are looking forward to exploring all that the Riverina region of NSW has to offer.
