The highly anticipated musical night of the year did not disappoint, with talented young musicians from the area come to see who has what it takes to be named the best.
Finalists included Jack Hawthorne on the acoustic, electric and bass guitar, Kayla Macedone playing the bass guitar, Jorja Dalton with her vocal performance accompanying her self with the acoustic guitar and ukulele, and vocalist Anastasia Comarin also accompanying herself on piano, acoustic guitar and electric guitar.
But there could only be one winner for the sought-after title, and this year it went to Anastasia Comarin with her rendition of Big Yellow Taxi.
She took home the perpetual trophy and an impressive $1000 thanks to the hosts, Griffith Musician's Club inc.
And to put the icing on the cake, the audience agreed with the judges that Anastasia had what it takes, and crowned her the People's Choice.
After the big announcement, she solidified her victories by performing Bohemian Rhapsody. Anastasia said it was a "huge relief" when her name was called out for the trophy.

"I was just so glad that all my hard work had paid off," she said. But then came the announcement of the People's Choice, and she was "shocked."
"I initially thought, can they do that? But it was pretty amazing to realise that they named me their favourite too."
