Griffith Aero Club will open their doors to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 9am. Social members will be able to get a free flight, and trial training flights and helicopter flights will be running. A barbecue and drinks will also be on offer. For information contact 6964 1666.

Exhibition explores undercurrents of existence
Artist David Griggs takes our everyday experiences, turning them around to reveal cracks to exhume the raw undercurrent of society. Griggs focuses on political images, local histories and personal experiences. The exhibition is on show at the Griffith Regional Gallery and continues until April 22.

All weekend Griffith musicians will be performing around the city
Getupandans perform at the Coro Club from 8pm on Friday. Tony Licastro at the Southside Leagues Club from 8.30pm on Friday. Ben Ceccato takes the stage at the Exies on Saturday from 8pm. Hotel Victoria hosts Crazy Daizies from 8.30pm on Saturday. Double Shot will perform at the Southside Leagues Club from 8.30pm on Saturday.

Shannon Noll takes the stage at the Area Hotel
Australian music icon Shannon Noll will be performing some of the singles that made him a household name in Griffith. The former Condobolin farm hand will appear at the Area Hotel on Friday night. Tickets are $30 on the door or www.oztix.com.au.
LIVE ON THE LACHLAN
Day out to raise money for Hillston's Deyan Cashmere
Hillston's Stan Peter's Oval will be transformed for the Live on the Lachlan. Shannon Noll, Taylor Henderson, the Bushwackers and more will perform with the aim to raise money to help Deyan Cashmere's battle with Leukaemia. Tickets are $40 for children, $80 or adults and $200 for families. Gates open at 2pm on Saturday, April 13.
