The 26-year-old and 49-year-old Sydneysiders were wanted by police after they allegedly stole a till drawer full of cash and stamps at Binya Post Office at around 5.20pm.
When the owner of the shop realised the till had been stolen he saw the two women in a white Holden Commodore Station Wagon behaving "suspiciously".

The shop owner called police officers, who made an extensive search of the area.
Their search was unfruitful, until at about 8pm when police got a tip-off about two women matching their description trying to hitchhike near Burley Griffin Way.
Officers drove to the area and at 8.15pm caught the two women hiding in a bush near the railway line at Binya State Forest.
The white Holden Commodore Station Wagon was nowhere to be seen, and police are still on the lookout for it.
The two women were arrested and were refused bail when they fronted Griffith Local Court on April 10.
