Soprano opera singer Petah Cavallaro-Chapman will be joined by classical violinist Khalida De Ridder and Danish classical guitarist Simon Thielke in a special performance at the Sacred Heart Church on Sunday.
Chatting to Petah, she said it wasn't exactly planned to come to Griffith however when one of her relatives commented on their social media site, the trio made it happen.
"We put on Facebook that we had organised a regional tour in QLD before we head over to Denmark for our debut over there," Petah explained.
"One of my aunties in Griffith commented she wished we were coming here - Khalida saw the comment, rang me and said 'why not?'
"We looked for a venue, sussed it out, and now we are coming."
In what is set to be a performance of heartrendingly beautiful classical music recitals, Griffith is set to be serenaded by the classically trained singer.
Not only her, however, but also two other amazingly talented musicians: violinist Khalida De Ridder and classical guitarist Simon Thielke.
Audience will be treated to some opera, like Handel's Julius Caesar. As well as a very special way to perform baroque with improvisation, flavoured with their unique folk influences.
"When I started learning baroque music, that element really fired and clicked with me."
Solo performances from Khalida and Simon is also set to thrill the audiences. Khalida will be performing some of her Bach repertoire, and Simon has a "very special" De Falla piece he will deliver.
