The usual buyers were present and competing in a steady market. Light lambs sold from $121 to $126/head. Trade weights were $4 dearer, selling from $130 to $158/head.
Heavy and extra heavy weight lambs held steady, with heavy lambs to 26kg selling from $151 to $176/head.
Those weighing more than 26kg sold from $172 to $240/head. Carcase prices averaged from 600c to 649c/kg.
Mutton numbers were made up of mostly Merinos, and quality was very mixed. An extra buyer saw prices improve from $6 to $9/head. Merino ewes sold from $96 to $170/head. Crossbred ewes received from $93 to $155, and Dorper ewes sold from $80 to $130/head.
