One of Austin Evans' proudest possessions is a thick stack of paper which lists the funding commitments he has delivered for the seat of Murray.

During his 16 months as Member for Murray he says he has delivered around $550 million - the kind of money the electorate hasn't seen in years.
He's hoping that will convince voters to place the all-important "1" next to his name on March 23.

"We've delivered a lot for Griffith and our election platform is to keep delivering more," Mr Evans said.
"More police, more nurses, more doctors, the citrus centre for excellence, sealing Boorga and Dickie Roads, the seniors transport card - these are some of the things we've committed to."
He's convinced he has plenty more in the tank if re-elected as Member for Murray, and he says he still has plenty more ideas that he wants to deliver on.
One of the things he says he would like to do if re-elected is to take 15,000 kilometres of roads out of council's hands and back onto state government books.
That would mean the funding and upkeep would be state government's responsibility, and it would be the first major cost shift away from local councils in many years.
"I know from my time as mayor that a lot of councils around here spend around 70 to 80 per cent of their budgets on roads, and it's hard to fund all of them," Mr Evans said.
"This would be the first major cost shift going in the other direction for a long time."
Mr Evans still has many other election promises, and he'll be spruiking those when voters head to the polls on March 23.
