The St Patrick's Day honour board event at the Griffith Golf Club last Saturday saw Lenard Carvill claim victory, carding 42 points.

In a day of high scores, Carvill also won B Grade, nailing a birdie on the 6th.
Runner-up Paul Smith, failed to capitalise on a 23 point front nine, shooting 39 points, only to come up one short on 41 points, carding 18 home.
The in-form Cody Stokes, 39 points, won A Grade, draining a birdie on the 6th. Jason Magoci, 38 points finished second, carding birdies on the 3rd, 5th, 9th and 15th.
John Gavin, 41 points, won C Grade, with a four-pointer on the 4th ahead of Terry Greedy, 37 points, also with a four-pointer on the 4th.

The best Sunday field for some time saw 52 players contest a single stableford.
Cody Stokes made it a double, again winning A Grade on 40 points. Stokes in a very short time has taken nine shots off his handicap.
Tony Dillon, 39 points, second. Jim Dickie, 38 points, won B Grade, ahead of Daniel Richens, 37 points; Chris Green, 38 points.
Best in C Grade, Rob Lee 37 points runner-up. Wayne Alpen won the 7th pin, Andrew Kidd 11th.
The B.C. Plumbers Pro Am is set down for Monday, March 25 and the board is seeking volunteers to help as spotters. Please contact Wayne or James in the Pro Shop.
There will be a working bee this coming Friday, March 22 at around 8.30am.

Sunday, March 24 is sponsor's day so there will be no other competition on that day.
There will be a major course renovation next week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The course will be closed to play on these days. The veterans competition will be on Friday, March 29.
The club is running an RSA course on April 1.
The junior competition continues on Sunday mornings, 3, 6 and 9 holes. All gear provided. Paul Gow will be running a free Junior Clinic on Sunday from 2pm.
Fixture books are available. A single stroke on Wednesday and a single stableford on Saturday.
Annual Subscriptions are now due.
The veterans played a single stableford last Thursday in two grades.
Grade 0-18 won by John Bortolazzo, 37 points, ahead of Tony McBride, 36 points.
Garnett Reade, 36 points, won 19-36 Grade; Byron James, 35 points; runner-up on a countback over Keith Woodbridge 35 points.
Brad Fawcett and Keith Woodbridge won vouchers. Paddy Keenan won the 4th pin, Tony McBride 8th, David Woodside 15th.
