That's the firm belief of local musician Robert Fattore, who will be shredding the bass guitar at Rewind in the Vines.
Mr Fattore has been working hard on the stage and behind the scenes to bring the sound of live music back to Griffith.
He remembers a time back in the 1980s when all the hottest bands would flock to Griffith and pack out all the leagues clubs.
Mr Fattore played as a supporting act to many of those famous bands: The Choir Boys, The Angels, The Radiators, Johnny Diesel - the list goes on.
Those glory days are long gone, and the sound of live music has since faded over the years.
"Griffith has been left out of the live music circuit for quite a while," Mr Fattore said.
But he is convinced that a day will come when the Griffith live music scene will make a big comeback.
That day may be coming sooner rather than later, what with the incredible star-studded lineup of Rewind in the Vines.
"It cannot be understated how big this is for Griffith," Mr Fattore said.
"It's only going to get bigger and it's really going to put Griffith on the map in a big way."
The upcoming Rewind in the Vines is gearing up to be the biggest one yet, with a bigger lineup, a bigger venue, and a light show that'll be twice the size of the last one.
All of the ingredients have been assembled for a Rewind in the Vines that will rock harder than it ever has before.

Mr Fattore believes that this music festival will herald the return of the golden days when the love of live music burned brightly.
“Live music brings people together; it's an international language that everyone shares," he said.
"That's the message that we as musicians try to spread, but to really understand it you have to go to a festival and experience it for yourself."
Rewind in the Vines kicks off on March 23 and will feature live performances from Mr Fattore's band Happy Avenue, as well as The Angels, Diesel, The Black Sorrows, Choirboys, Radiators, Pacific Avenue, and Side Effect.
