Cindy Goolagong was given an intensive six month supervised order with 80 hours of community service for theft, on the condition she continues her rehabilitation for drug and alcohol problems. She was given a further conviction and 12 months community corrections order for intimidation.
Goolagong was reported to police in July for harassing and threatening a woman with her children, known to Goolagong, in Woolworths in front of witnesses.
Walking towards the woman and her children, Goolagong was told repeatedly to stay away, however kept trying to get around the woman to the children.
When the mother said to Goolagong "I thought I told you to f*** off", Goolagong began screaming, saying "what are you gonna do? You wait you money hungry slut I'm gonna wait outside for you and punch the f***ing s*** out of you." She left the store upon being told police were on their way.
When she was found on Bringagee Street by police, she refused to comment.
In another matter before the court, Goolagong was caught on CCTV footage at a Griffith Chemist stealing a $59 bottle of Joop cologne on November.
When approached by police who saw her once again on Bringagee Street later that month, she denied the theft.
Magistrate Joy Boulos noted the facts outlining Goolagong's eight previous charges brought against her for shoplifting offences under $200.
"You've said, 'sometimes I just don't like to pay for stuff'… my opinion of the prospects of your rehabilitation are still guarded."
Goolagong's legal representative, Olivia Harris, made the case for her client and made clear she had removed herself from a toxic relationship which made her drug habits spiral.

"She advises me she hasn't used drugs since December 2018, and there are a lot of positive things in her life," Ms Harris said.
She outlined strong familial support, also saying Goolagong recognised the detrimental affects her behaviour had on her family. Arguing she was now in a supportive relationship, clear demonstrations of remorse and responsibility, Ms Harris made the submission for a lengthy community corrections order.
Magistrate Boulos said Goolagong was not helped by her lengthy criminal history, especially given her last conviction for shoplifting was in August 2017, where she was convicted and spent time in custody.
She went on to say the behaviour in a public place with children in the vicinity was below mid-range of objective seriousness and took into account her plea of guilty.
