2. ART GALLERY's 2019 LAUNCH
A free event to celebrate the start of the gallery's exhibitions from 6pm
Griffith Regional Art Gallery will launch their 2019 program and Aboriginal artist Barbara McGrady's Always Will be exhibition. The exhibition is a series of documentary photographs which explore political, social and community events from an indigenous perspective. Music will be provided by DJ Lady Barber.

From 3pm to 5pm Griffin Plaza will host friendly games of chess at Bella's Cafe on Saturday, February 16.
4. TRAGIC MOTHER OF THE BRIDE
Fundraiser encourages people to take wedding excitement to the next level
Get your shocking frocks out for the Tragic Mother of the Bride fundraiser. The event will raise money for Griffith Meals on Wheels, with music, a light supper and prizes for the most tragic outfit. It starts from 7.30pm at Griffith Exies Club. Tickets are $35 and are available from the Yambil Hub at 16 Yambil Street.

6. COLOUR ME CRAZY GRIFFITH FUN RUN
Starting from 10am at Lake Wyangan picnic area on Sunday, February 17
For the third year in a row the colour run will be raising money for the Griffith Suicide Prevention and Support Group, Post School Options and the Carevan.
7. THURSDAY FILM CLUB
On February 21 the library will screen a movie from 5pm
Griffith City Library will screen Bohemian Rhapsody starring Rami Maek as the iconic Freddie Mercury as he defied convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on earth.
