Police were called to several suspicious fires throughout the week, with one breaking out on Tyson Lane in Tharbogang at 11pm on January 30.

Police were called to the scene after RFS managed to extinguish the 30 square metre bushfire.
The second fire took place at 2:35am on January 31, when a pile of old tree branches were found ablaze on the side of Little Road.
The third fire took place on Combe Road at 11:45pm on January 31.
RFS put out approximately 60 square metres of bushland without incident.

Inspector Seddon said the fires were being treated as suspicious.
“Given three fires in such a short space of time, we are asking for any information for who might be responsible,” he said.
“In these hot times when there’s fuel around it can have a serious impact on the community.”
