Median street parking along the south section of Yambil Street will stop from January 31.
Unlimited street parking is available along the rest of the street Council say work will then commence on the north side, however timing could be subject to change.
The works were expected to have been completed this month, with the works over the Christmas period also extended.
Work to lay pipes in Kooyoo Street between Yambil and Canal Streets will commence on February 4.
Kooyoo Street will be closed to traffic from the Yambil Street intersection for around 30 metres. Vehicle access will be allowed from Canal Street to the road closure point.
It is anticipated this work will be completed mid-February and Kooyoo Street reopened.

There is a possibility businesses may experience disruption to telecommunications, power and gas supply.
Council will endeavour to inform those affected as soon as possible, with mayor John Dal Broi thanking the community for their patience.
“Council will continue to provide updates as this work progresses to keep residents informed,” Cr Dal Broi said.
