With a spot already secured in the one-day final, all attention turns to securing table position in the overall first-grade ladder and with the Diggers side locked in a battle with Exies for top spot.
Dropped points for Diggers could make all the difference come the end of the season.
At the other end of the table, Hanwood is locked into a three-way battle with Coro and Leagues as they fight over the final two places inside the top four.
It has been a tough run of games for Hanwood who have only picked up five points from the last five games with four of those coming from the washed out round before Christmas.
Diggers have taken the two previous meetings between the two sides and will be looking to continue that run when the first ball is bowled at 4.30pm on Saturday evening.
