The property had been vacated, but the owners had left behind some of their personal belongings.
When they went back to the house to collect them, they discovered they had been robbed.
The thieves made away with a Bosch 18-volt cordless drill, some assorted tools, and a pedestal fan.
Meanwhile, between 11:30pm on Tuesday and 6:30am on Wednesday a thief drove away in a 1994 white holden Commodore sedan.
The car had been parked outside the driveway of the owner's house on West Avenue in Yenda.
Another ute was stolen between 11:30pm on Monday and 8:15 on Tuesday from outside a house on Hart Street.
The thieves drove away in the 2008 grey Nissan Navara ute, and police are currently trying to track down the vehicle.
Another car had its windscreen smashed in on Curtin Street at some point between 8.30am on Saturday and 12.30pm on Tuesday.
The owner had been out of town for several days, only to return to discover their car had been damaged.
