A lively crowd turned up on the day to sip tea and savour mouthwatering platters of food under a green canopy of vine leaves.
Wine flowed freely at the event thanks to Casella Family Brands, which helped sponsor the event.
There were prizes-a-plenty on the day, with raffle tickets being sold to help raise money for the charity.
Griffith Can Assist president Olga Forner said the money raised would go a long way to help local families battling against cancer.
“We’re just thrilled at the support; the money raised today is just so important for so many families,” she said.
“This is a great finish to the year and I hope everyone had a lovely time catching up before the Christmas hype.”
Ms Forner already has big plans for Can Assist in the upcoming year, and she has crammed her calendar with fun and exciting events including the highly anticipated City2Lake Fun Run.
