Diggers have made a strong start to the timed cricket season with two convincing wins while after a slow start the Cougars have now won two games in a row.
With Exies, who currently occupy first, having the week off, Diggers will have the chance to change the look at the top of the table with only nine points separating the sides heading into the weekend and an outright win for the Diggers side would see them climb three points ahead of Exies.
In the last two games, Dean Villata has been the one to watch for the Diggers side with the ball having taken 12 wickets in the previous two weeks sees him rise up to the top of the bowling statistics while with the bat they have been led by Trevor Richards and captain Theo Valeri in recent weeks.
Coro will head into this weekend having picked up wins against Leagues and Exies in the previous two weeks. Jamie Bennett was the man with the bat while Alex Flood and Shane Hutchinson found their form with the ball.
In the meeting between the two sides earlier in the season, it was a convincing victory for the Diggers side.
Meanwhile, in the day-night clash, Leagues will look to find their form off the back of a bye when they take on Hanwood.
Hanwood will be looking to bounce back this week after a tough game last weekend against Diggers and have an excellent opportunity to get back in the winner's circle when they take on the struggling Panthers.
Leagues will have the previous encounter this year to look back on and take confidence from after they were able to pick up 62-run
