A 19-year-old woman was struck by a white tray back ute at around 8:45am on Thursday as she was using the zebra crossing outside the courthouse.

A bystander tried to pull the woman to safety, but she was still hit by the ute and sustained an injury to her hip and leg.
The driver of the ute did not stop and continued driving away along Banna Avenue.
Murrumbidgee Police District are currently asking members of the public to contact them or Crime Stoppers if they have any information or were witnesses at the event.
