After having the bye in round one and then suffering a big loss to Exies last weekend, Diggers will be looking to get their season off the mark when they take on Leagues at West End Oval on Saturday.

There were positives to take from last week's game against Exies for Diggers despite the result with most of the top order able to get starts however no one was able to push on to a bigger total while Luke Peruzzi and Mark Favell picked up three wickets each.
For Leagues, they got the bounce back win they needed last weekend against Coro after a tough start to the season. Andrew Madden was the standout for the bat hitting a half-century last weekend so he could be one to watch out for this weekend.
The Panthers could also be boosted by the return of openers Ben Leach and Logan Matheson along with Liam Greenaway all who missed last weekend’s match against the Cougars.
The first ball between the two sides is set to be bowled at 1pm out at West End Oval.
