A man is set to face Griffith Court after crashing into a palm tree on Jondaryan Avenue, driving over the legal limit.

Police and Griffith Fire and Rescue station 311 were called to the crash on Jondaryan Avenue at around 7.30pm on Sunday night.
A 28-year-old man was driving a 1998 Toyota Camry heading south, and near the intersection of Couch Road collided with a palm tree.
He was breath tested at the scene and returned a positive mid-range reading of 0.142 back at the station.
His license was suspended and he will be going to Griffith Local Court for the drink-driving charge.
