Cold and windy conditions may have hampered events on Saturday, but nothing could stop professionals and learners, locals and ring-ins from taking to the stage to perform.
Festival organiser Raina Savage said the event brought young crowds to entertain and to be entertained.
“There was a lot of young people, kids and families, and all the performances were fantastic. There was a really good crowd,” Ms Savage said.
A series of skating and parkour demonstrations, workshops and impressive displays of prowess were provided with Snake Sessions by Branch Nebula.
The street party crowd also went wild for renowned Australian MC and producer Joelistics as the musical headliner and conducted workshops.
The ‘Xtreem’ skate party and street style music festival was presented by Griffith Regional Theatre and Griffith City Council in conjunction with MY FEST from September 11 until September 15 for the main event.

Branch Nebula was also at the skate park from Tuesday September 11, entertaining the crowds with BMX riders, parkour artists, skaters, and dancers.
Ms Savage said the week culminating on Saturday was a chance for young people to learn as well as view, with many workshops being held for skating and BMX tricks, to song-writing sessions.
Local performers also shared the stage with the headlines acts, giving artists like Aduny Takele AKA Akid, to get valuable exposure and experience on the stage.
“We really wanted to engage the youth with the arts, and see their potential and what they can do with that passion” Ms Savage said.
