At about 4pm on Sunday, the truck was travelling along Goldfields Way (between West Wyalong and Temora) when the trailer transporting sheep tipped as the driver turned a corner.
Officers from the Murrumbidgee Police District attended the scene.
A police spokesperson said the male driver sustained only minor injuries.
“No other vehicles involved,” the spokesperson said.
The incident affected traffic on the highway, which was closed for a short period as traffic control managed the situation.
On Monday, the police spokesperson said enquiries into the circumstances of the accident were continuing.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said that they were not called to the accident.
It comes two days after a fatal accident on the Newell Highway, West Wyalong, involving a truck and car.
All lanes on the Newell Highway were closed for most of the night, reopening at about 6am on Saturday.
