All taught by Griffith’s Mary Santos, the eisteddfod adjudicator Marcia Buck encouraged the students to keep playing and enjoying their music.
Bethany Piva won the Custom Music Trophy for high marks thanks to first place in the 12-years piano solo and second in the solo from memory.
Emma King placed first in the 10-years piano duet and was equal first in the nine-years piano solo from memory, as well as getting two highly commended awards for nine-years piano solo and the nine-years Australian composition.
Serena O’Connor shared the first place in the 10-years piano duet and placed second in piano solo, piano solo from memory, jazz composition.
The 11-years Baroque first was won by Julia Sergi, who was also second in the piano from memory and highly commended in jazz.
Charlie Featherstone was first in the 12 years Baroque composition and second in piano while Lily Beltrame was highly commended in the piano solo from memory section.
