Library Assistant Kate Crosato, with the aid of work experience student Hayden Pope, read out Mulga Bill's Bicycle, by Banjo Paterson, This Is a Ball by Beck Stanton and Matt Stanton, and The Wrong Book, by Nick Bland.
RELATED:
The third book, and by far the favourite among the children, was This Is a Ball by Beck Stanton and Matt Stanton, which forces parents to read out-right lies to their children.
After reading the first line, ‘This is a ball’ (which was accompanied by a picture of a cube), little Archer Foskett yelled out, “The writing’s telling lies!”
Afterwards, the children were invited to build their own solar system using cardboard, paper, crayons, and yarn.
