The two largest and out-of-control fires are in the Bega and Ulladulla regions.
Operational Officer Jonty Bruce of the Riverina Zone said no units had been dispatched yet to assist.
“At this stage, we’ve had only pre-preemptive talks, including what additional support may be needed,” Mr Bruce said.
“If any volunteer firefighters do go, it’d be for support roles.
“A lot of other regional crews are closer than we are to incidents.”
The Bemboka fire west of Bega is spread across 3317ha while the Mount Kingiman fire near Ulladulla is 1358 ha in size.
Both bushfires began on Wednesday morning.
Nearly 650 firefighters are battling 81 bushfires across the state, with 38 uncontained.
Yesterday, the Bureau of Meteorology issued a seasonal outlook for September to November this year. Hotter and drier conditions are expected to continue.
