It was always going to be a tough ask for the Swans A grade side as they took on the top of the table Demons, but the visitors kept themselves in the clash to eventually fall 29-17 in changing conditions.
The day started well for the Swans as the under 17s continued to build their lead on the fifth-placed Collingullie after a nail-biting 39-38 win to extend their advantage to six points with two rounds remaining in the regular season.
A Reserve, who fell 69-22, are still looking to avoid the wooden spoon but they should be safe given Coolamon are yet to win a game.
In B grade, a 40-20 loss means the side are still at risk of missing finals but a positive result this weekend against Mangoplah CUE will make them safe.
Finally, the C grade side who are safely into finals fell to a 33-20 loss at the hands of the Demons.
