The Blueheelers are currently level on points with the top of the table Waratahs but are behind them on points difference as it stands.
After they fell by a narrow margin last weekend, they lost the top spot which they had held onto for the last month and will be looking to try and get back to the top and secure the week off in the first week of finals.
For the Black and Whites, it is a chase of securing their spot inside the top five as quickly as possible with Leeton sitting three points behind the Panthers meaning a win this weekend would see them secure their finals place.
The Panthers do have a tough run in as after they take on the second-placed Yenda side they will finish the regular season with a tough hit out with local rivals Waratahs.
In their favour is both games will be at home so they will look to use that to their advantage.
The showpiece event for the day will be the top of the table league tag clash between the two sides which will kick off the action at Solar Mad Stadium at 12.40pm on Sunday.
The reserves will kick off at 1.30pm before first-grade rounds out the action with kick off at around 3pm.
