What I have been saying is that Australia will become a third world country in 20 or 30 years and then you have the older generation who have said to me that we are already are a third world country.

The only problem in saying that, we do not know that, on account we do not know what it is like to go hungry.
Dairy farmers are finding it hard going with the past price of milk they are in financial trouble, they work seven days a week to keep the milk, butter and cheese on the supermarket shelves.
We have lost people with trades in the car industry, white goods and clothing industries and these industries have moved overseas and Australia relies on other countries to supply Australia with these goods and Griffith businesses when customers come into the shop looking to buy and then go online and purchase the same goods, the future of any town depends on business and customers working together.
Our manufacturing industries that rely on electricity supply having to temporarily shut down, to keep us warm in our beds.
Australia has become dependent on solar and wind farms, no wind, no power and when the sun goes down at night with solar panels there is no power generated unless you have battery storage.
We still need our coal fired power stations that our past governments sold off or decommissioned.
The world emission is 98.6 per cent and we produce 1.4 per cent and we sell our coal to China, who are commissioning three coal fire stations a month.
Australia has a population of 24 million and with so many trade agreements with other countries, what are we trading in return for their goods?
Australian owned supermarkets are fighting for their survival while supermarkets owned by overseas investors are welcomed by our governments to bring down the prices on goods.
Our politicians are all highly university educated people, but they do not know the reality of life of the people, they are too busy fighting between themselves to govern the country.

THANK YOU, GRIFFITH
On Sunday, July 22, the top donors of Griffith who contributed so much for the Griffith Sikh Games this year were honored in the Griffith Sikh Temple.
The presidents of Casella Wines and Bortoli Wines were among those who were honored. Many ladies and other men were also among those who were honored.
The function started at 3pm in the Great Hall where our Scripture Shri Guru Granth Sahib is seated.
The honorable guests were honored one by one. After that they were served in kitchen-hall down with tea and Pakoras (a tasty Punjabi diet). They were told about the Sikh history and the progress of the Sikhs in Canada.
"Serving in the kitchen of a Sikh Temple is a sacred task," they were told.
"The Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau and his wife served in the kitchen of Golden Temple (India) by preparing Chapatis when they visited that sacred Sikh shrine."
The guests were very happy.
It shows that the Griffith Sikh Games represent the whole of the Griffith community and we are thankful to all the donors.
