Injuries and family commitments have meant some of their key men will miss the clash, but coach Nick Puntoriero was still hopeful of getting the points.
He said those out with the family commitments had let the club know at the start of the season they would be missing this weekend’s match.
Yanco-Wamoon are a good chance of making it five wins in a row on Sunday afternoon after an excellent run of form recently.
Their victories started with a win over arch-rivals Leeton in nine before taking care of the Griffith Black and Whites, Waratah Tigers and West Wyalong.
However, coach Nick Puntoriero said the side was keeping a lid on things.
“We have been going really well … I am pleased with the boys’ efforts recently,” he said.
“They really have stepped up.
“The goal at the moment is to keep getting the two points every week and see where we end up.
“Obviously we want that to be in the top five, but we’re not getting ahead of ourselves.”
Many would view their match against Hay as being an opportunity for the Hawks to boost their percentage against the struggling Magpies.
However, Puntoriero has warned his team not to take them lightly.

“Hay at Hay … it doesn’t matter where they are on the ladder,” he said.
“They are always that little bit tougher at home.
“It’s important we go in switched on.”
Yanco-Wamoon’s missing players will mean the side will look to play a simple brand of football on Sunday.
“We want to get in, get the job done and hopefully come away with the two points unscathed,” the coach said.
The Hawks have jumped into fourth spot on the Group 20 ladder and are just three points behind Waratah Tigers in second and Tullibigeal Lakes United in third.
Yenda remain in top spot on 22 points.
“I said at the start of the year it would be a close competition and it’s really shaping up to be that way,” Puntoriero said.
