Children were treated with a Hairy Maclary-themed story and art session.
Library Assistant, Kate Crosato read three classic Hairy Maclary stories by author Lynley Dodd.
Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy, Hairy Maclary's Caterwaul Caper and the ever-popular Slinky Malinki were all thoroughly enjoyed by the children.

People and Programs Team Leader, Abby Molloy, said Hairy Maclary is an “all-time favourite” with children.
“A lot of the kids had heard the story, so they really enjoyed listening to it with their friends and parents,” Ms Molloy said.
Afterwards, the children were invited to make their own Hairy Maclarys by gluing coloured paper onto a drawing of the much-beloved children’s book character.
The Storytime events incorporate both stories and craft activities that are designed for children aged three to five and are a great opportunity for pre-literacy children to learn.
Griffith City Library holds a Storytime each Friday at 11am.
Next week, the library will be celebrating NAIDOC Week and children will get the chance to make their own library bags with dot paint artwork on them.
Keep your eyes out for more events to come.
