Brooke Aloisi
Brooke Aloisi, 14 years-old, is playing Alice Beineke, the mother of Lucas and wife to Mal.
What is the favourite part of your character? Alice’s personality; Alice is quirky and comical and often speaks in rhyme.
What do you find the most challenging part of your character? The most challenging part I have found is going from a cheerful Alice to then acting out a mad Alice.
What previous experience do you have? I have participated in many local and surrounding Eisteddfords and performances. I have a passion for singing, dancing and acting and have been performing on stage with MDS since the age of three. I was also fortunate enough to be involved in the Marian Catholic College 2014 production of the musical ‘Grease’ which was an amazing experience and so I was keen to audition for The Addams Family.
Where do you take your inspiration from? A combination of movies, theatre and art as well as watching many different performances and styles of dance.
Joshua Golden
Joshua Golden, 17 years-old, is playing the role of Lurch.
What is the favourite part of your character? How he doesn’t say much but has such depth behind the few sounds he makes.
What do you find the most challenging part of your character? The most challenging part of my character is the need to keep a straight face throughout the entire show and try not to laugh.
What previous experience do you have? I’ve had no previous experiences with musicals, however this didn’t stop me from giving it my all.
Where do you take your inspiration from? My inspiration comes from my cousin Jacob, and sister who have been significantly involved in music and musicals throughout their schooling years.
Who are your favourite actors/actresses? I’m a fan of Taika Waititi and Chris Hemsworth especially when they are in movies that are creative and funny.
Shows kick off on June 27, tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from Griffith Regional Theatre.
